Sexual Health Education Saves Lives

Ontario’s updated #SexEd program is the only space youth have to discuss and unpack consent. Amazing non-profit organizations and individual teachers can give a more in depth education, but without provincial-wide comprehensive sexual health education, youth have very little education on the subject.

Consent culture begins at birth, and doesn’t apply to just sexual interactions. But without it we will continue to see systemic sexual violence on campuses, in bars and restaurants, in the work place, and in our schools.

On June 7th, challenge rape culture and support survivors by voting for a candidate that won’t repeal or “restructure” Sex Ed.
