Music Gallery

We are so proud to have partnered with Music Gallery on a partnership grant to deliver workshops and education on sexual harassment and violence prevention and support to their community but also to strengthen the organizations inclusivity and internal practices and policies. The Music Gallery is a centre for promoting and presenting innovation and experimentation in all forms of music, and for encouraging cross-pollination between genres, disciplines and audiences.

GOOD NIGHT OUT VANCOUVER

We are honoured to partner with Stacey Forrester and Good Night Out Vancouver locally and nationally. If you are visiting this page and are located in BC and need safer spaces education, please reach out to them first.

Good Night Out Vancouver was founded out of an awareness of the links between alcohol consumption and sexual aggression and initiated from community concerns that staff and patrons in Vancouver’s nightlife could benefit from education around how to recognize, interrupt and prevent sexual harassment and assault on nights out. They are committed to engaging our community with these issues in ways that are authentic, meaningful and interactive.

SASS is a collective of community members like you. That’s right –  SASS is a group of volunteers from an array of backgrounds and identities. They want to help put an end to racism, discrimination and sexual crimes in Calgary music festivals and venues. They seek to increase safety for vulnerable groups, including but not limited to women and members of the LGBTQ2+ and multicultural communities.
